Established with the vision of developing the safest and most premium range of power-efficient elevator traction machines to meet the needs of the elevator industry, APSON was founded in 2016 by Late Shri Arvind Panchal, the former promoter of Rabatex Group with over 40 years of experience. APSON is the only company in India to have elevator motors up to 48 poles. With a capacity range up to 28,000 kg (8:1 roping) and speeds up to 12.0 m/s, our commitment to innovation continues as we strive to develop even more power-efficient traction machines. FOUNDER – APSON MOTOR (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED
Late Mr. Arvind Panchal was a visionary technocrat, entrepreneur, and investor with over 40 years of experience in machinery design, industrial automation, and advanced research & development. Renowned for his deep technical expertise, he played a significant role in the development of sophisticated textile and material-handling machinery, making lasting contributions to India’s manufacturing ecosystem. In recognition of his pioneering work, he was awarded the Best R&D Award in 2006 by the Central Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Late Mr. Arvind Panchal firmly believed that innovation is essential for long-term business sustainability. Guided by the core philosophy instilled by his father – “Quality is everyone’s responsibility” – he embedded a culture of continuous improvement, precision engineering, and uncompromising quality across all his ventures. This philosophy became the cornerstone of APSON’s operational and manufacturing excellence.
In 2016, under his leadership, APSON entered a non-disclosure research collaboration with an international expert to develop next-generation elevator traction machines. Leveraging his extensive experience in mechanical engineering and automation, he successfully led the development of a comprehensive range of elevator traction machines, making APSON the first Indian brand to offer a complete portfolio of elevator motors. His long-term vision, relentless focus on innovation, and commitment to quality excellence positioned APSON as one of India’s most trusted and successful elevator motor manufacturers. Today, APSON proudly stands as the only company in the world to offer up to 7-year warranty on elevator traction machines, a testament to the enduring legacy of Late Mr. Arvind Panchal and his unwavering pursuit of engineering excellence.
Mr Hiren Panchal
MANAGING DIRECTOR – APSON MOTOR (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED
Mr. Hiren Panchal is a mechanical engineer and third-generation entrepreneur. He began his professional career in 2012 as a Sales Executive in the pharmaceutical machinery industry, gaining hands-on experience in industrial sales, customer engagement, and machinery solutions. In 2013, he joined his 60-year-old family business and was appointed Executive Director, overseeing business analysis, research and development, and international sales. During his tenure, Mr. Hiren Panchal developed strong expertise in building global partnerships and driving the adoption of advanced technologies across international markets.
In 2016, following the establishment of APSON, Mr. Hiren Panchal was appointed Managing Director, entrusted with executing the company’s strategic vision. Leveraging his industry experience and leadership capabilities, he successfully implemented key business strategies and positioned APSON as a recognized and trusted name in the elevator component industry within a short period of time.
His strong focus on high pole design, energy efficiency, and long-lasting motor durability has played a key role in APSON’s growth and market leadership. Owing to his contributions, Mr. Hiren Panchal has been recognised as one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the elevator and escalator industry. Beyond APSON, he is also a Founder Member of the Elevator & Escalator Component Manufacturers’ Association of India, actively contributing to the advancement of the industry.
